My name is Iris, the creator behind Plushmaker. I hand sew custom plushies from various (popular) media for you to gift or for your own personal collection!

Growing up I’ve always enjoyed the arts, but only got into crafting in my late teens. I vividly remember watching an episode of ‘Star Trek: The Original Series‘ one night and wanting a plush of one of my favourite characters. I decided that, instead of buying one, I should create one myself. Having no prior experience, my mum taught me some basic stitches and I haven’t stopped crafting since!
I’ve honed my skills throughout the years – everything I know is through trial and error.

I’ve considered making this my full-time business, but I’ve come to realise that I enjoy the hobby aspect of crafting. As of today, I work full-time in a regular 8am – 6pm job and craft in my spare time. I do open commission slots every now and again, so feel free to shoot me a message via email or via my socials.

Making plushies has brought me so much joy and so many great opportunities in life that I wouldn’t have had without them. I’m very happy to share my work with every single one of you here and I do hope you enjoy my work as much as I do!
